VIC Morwell Club 27 Celebrates 50 years of Speaking
On the weekend of 24th to 25th October, Morwell Club 27 celebrated their 50th Anniversary and organised in association with Malvern Club 45, a weekend of activities culminating in a dinner meeting on the Saturday evening.
The activities started with an evening meal at the Morwell Bowls Club on Friday night followed by a drive on the Saturday to the picturesque town of Walhalla. Activities in Walhalla included a ride on the Walhalla Goldfield Railway and then after lunch a tour of the Long Tunnel Extended Mine.

The Anniversary Dinner was at the Morwell Bowling Club where 15 Rostrum members and friends from six clubs joined 10 members and 3 ex-members from Club 27 for a meal and an entertaining evening of activities.
On Sunday three car loads of members and friends drove to the Tarra Bulga National Park where, after a short walk to the suspension bridge, a light lunch was taken before dispersing back to Melbourne.
