Do you have an important speech to present at work or for a family event? Do you need to be more dynamic in work presentations? Do you chair well organised meetings or do they take up far too much precious time?

Malvern Rostrum Club 45 is a friendly and supportive environment where you can practice your speaking skills and meeting procedures and receive helpful feedback from experienced members.

Our weekly meeting starts with breakfast, followed by a formal meeting - each of our group is rostered as Chair on a rotating basis. We then move into presentations, speaking exercises or prepared speeches on a wide range of topics. Each member sets their speaking goal and the club coaches provides feedback on both the meeting management and speeches for the day.

The club meeting runs for 1 hour. Breakfast starts 10 minutes prior to the meeting. The meeting follows a standard format - business session, 5 minute break, speaking program and feedback.

• Business session - members are elected to the various roles of president, chair, minutes secretary, treasurer and gain valuable meeting practice to improve their skills in running and participating in formal meetings.
• Speaking program - our training officer works with members to organise practice sessions in public speaking skills, interview skills, debates, presentations and other activities. Each member works to reach their personal targets.
• Coach feedback - the club coach gives speakers and the office bearers feedback on their day's presentation and offers tips for improvement. We meet every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m at
