On the evening of Saturday August 2nd, Warrnambool will again be host to a big Rostrum event. Over four hours, there will be western Victoria’s finest speeches, a competitive debate and a big celebration for Club 23’s 50th Birthday. All Rostrum members from all parts of the state are invited to attend, as are their guests. All ex-members of Club 24 are particularly encouraged to attend, so they can help celebrate the Club’s long life.

The evening’s program:

• 4.30       Drinks and nibbles
• 5.00       Jo Davis Competition Western Region Final
• 6.30       Dinner at a nearby pub
• Later      McCarthy Debate
• Later      Club 23’s 50th Birthday Celebration
• 8.30       Finish

Other than the dinner, all activities will be held in the Southern Way Direct Care Service buildings at 181 Fairy St, Warrnambool. There is nearby parking, and Warrnambool train station is 800m away.

So whether you’ve never been to Warrnambool before, you went there for the recent Fun Weekend, you live there, or have some other connection to the place, please consider visiting this seaside city for this special evening.
